3: MANUFACTURE you must choose the style of manufacture
of your shirt and subsequently, the styling options associated with
each. We offer two manufacturing styles from which to choose: |
| either "LONDONER" or "STATESIDE" |
| "LONDONER"
- our shirts are based on the Jermyn Street style of
manufacture. Jermyn Street in London, is home to traditional
English shirtmaking. The tradition is for heavier, more
substantial collar and cuffs made up of various layers
of independent interlining. Great for formal day wear
shirts when conservatism and the 'Traditional
English Look' is the aim. |
| "STATESIDE" - these shirts are based on the New York
style of manufacture. This offers a more relaxed style of collar and cuff. The
interlining is fused, making a lighter, finer, easier to iron shirt. Stateside
offers our more up-to-date collar styles and is best for a more casual look.
